FAQ
I want to attend but I am not physically in the Netherlands, can I follow it digitally?
- Yes. We organise this symposium to include each and every one who has interest in Caribbean healthcare. We want to ensure that it remains accessible to participants from across the Caribbean. Therefore, we have organized the option to join the event online.
We are a voluntary association and put a lot of effort and care into organizing this symposium. As we can not verify this, we therefore trust that our participants will only purchase an online ticket if they truly plan to attend remotely from one of the Caribbean islands.
At what time does it starts, when attending digitally?
If you attend it digitally, you are in the Caribbean region and within the Atlantic Standard time. This will therefore start at 9:00AM.
In which language will the symposium be held, and why?
- The symposium will be fully in English. In previous years, we noticed that using Dutch excluded participants to join from certain island groups. To ensure that everyone from all islands can participate, we have decided to select English as the working language.
Will there be a complimentary lunch?
- Yes! We will provide lunch at Meet Tuesday before the official start of the symposium.
I am a medical specialist, will I be able to obtain accreditation?
- Yes! If you leave your BIG number in the registration form and pass the test after the symposium.
Do we need to take a test to gain accreditation?
- Yes, we will talk you through how this works during the symposium. It is possible to do a 'resit' if you did not pass the first time.
I am not a medical specialist, but would like to receive accreditation, is this possible?
- Accreditation has only been requested through GAIA, as thus far the majority of participants are medical specialists. We can, however, provide a certificate of attendance upon request. This must be requested within one week after the symposium via info@medikoantiano.com. Please note that AMA cannot intervene if the certificate is not recognized for accreditation by other occupational groups.
What is the exact location of the symposium?
- In Rotterdam. Meet Tuesday is at the 23rd floor of the Marriott Hotel which is right near Rotterdam Central Station (2 min walk). Navigate to the address Weena 690.
Can I park nearby?
- For sure. The nearest parking is " central plaza parking" at Kruisstrraat 13 (park at your own cost). A tip: reserve your parking place through "ParkBee "or "Gemeente Rotterdam Parkeren" beforehand and nearby.
